Visually, it was spectacular and dwarfed Twilight (with it's blue filter) by comparison.<br>However, Summit tried waaay too hard to push the sales of the soundtrack by filling every scene with the indie rock album. The drowning sequence was completely ruined by the psychedelic music, and Edward rising up from the abyss made it appear like a bad acid trip.<br><br>I was pleasantly surprised with Kristen Stewart's performance, however Taylor Lautner and Rob Pattinson were a huge disappointment. <br>The script was terrible..costuming terrible...and the ripe cherry on top were the stupid fans screaming during the entire movie.<br><br>I have diminished hopes for Eclipse. The first twilight movie was a clear disappointment. However, Chris Weitz perfectly fit everything from teh book into the movie. The acting was alittle bit better (alittle bit). Catherine Hardwicke cut so much out of the film that was in the book that I really missed. Catherine also made the movie so awkward, now granted there were awkward moments in New Moon but we were saved by some comedy which relazed the situation.
