Twilight Eclipse – Riley Has Been Cast!

It looks like this week’s speculation over Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince star Tom Felton has become redundant – because the news is that Summit Entertainment have cast their Riley for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse!
The follow on to this year’s highly anticipated The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the film is the third book in the series and sees the villainous vampiress Victoria “convert” a young, infatuated college student called Riley into a vampire – and inadvertently her lackey.
And who playing this tragic role alongside teen idols Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewert and Taylor Lautner? One unknown Australian actor – Xavier Samuel!
Samuel has starred in a series of films down-under, including “Newcastle,” in which he played a Goth teenager amidst a group of surfers Aussie period drama “September” and the upcoming sci-fi thriller “Road Train.” Eclipse marks Sameul’s first U.S. role, and will no doubt turn the teen actor into a household name.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is the third book in Stephanie Meyer’s series and begins filming in Vancouver next month. So what do you think Twihards? Good choice for Riley?

Great! I totally think that unknow actors are always the best choice to big and famous movies. Must say, he’ll look hot as a vampire!
i love watching twighlit . im dying to see new moon.and i think that its a good idea to have new actors. i want to be in one of the movies so bad but i really killing myself waiting for the movies i keep rereading my twighlit series
Well you won’t have long to wait Sydney, New Moon is out this November and Eclipse is due to begin production in the next few weeks with a release date of Winter 2010!
I never cease to be amazed how popular the Twilight series has become, with just one film under it’s belt you could argue that the series has already become a phenomenon in it’s own right!
