Third Teaser Trailer For Despicable Me

despicable_me logoWhen you’re the world’s second biggest super villain, you have a very busy schedule on your hands. So how do you go about managing all of those dastardly deeds? How do you fit it all in? The answer is simple, as any self-respecting villain will tell you, you hire minions. Unfortunately, the problem then becomes “how do you stop your minions from becoming distracted?”

With the release of the third teaser trailer for Universal Pictures’ Despicable Me, we are given a glimpse into the simple world of the minion. There isn’t a lot else and we still don’t have any decent footage from the film, but it certainly made me chuckle. Check it out below:

In a happy suburban neighbourhood surrounded by white picket fences with flowering rose bushes, sits a black house with a dead lawn. Unbeknownst to the neighbours, hidden beneath this home is a vast secret hideout. Surrounded by a small army of minions, we discover Gru (voiced by Steve Carell), planning the biggest heist in the history of the world. He is going to steal the moon (Yes, the moon!) in Universal’s new 3-D CGI feature, Despicable Me.

Gru delights in all things wicked. Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way. Until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen – a potential Dad.
