Rachel Weisz Signs Up For 'Dream House'

rachel-weisz Read all about it! Read all about it! English actress, Rachel Weisz joins Jim Sheridan’s new thriller! Yes, it’s true. Variety have said so. Sheridan has been busy of late and only just released Brothers, but the Irish filmmaker is firing on all cylinders at present and shouting “Tally-ho” in preparation for a film produced by Universal. It’s called Dream House and it starts shooting this weekend in Toronto. The script is by David Loucka.

Rachel Weisz joins Naomi Watts and Daniel Craig for what sounds a lot like a psycho thriller (Qu’est-ce que c’est ?) in which a New York publisher decides to quit the big bad city and retire to the countryside. They find their “dream house”, but the estate agent doesn’t tell them the former occupant and her two kids were brutally murdered. Naomi Watts is playing the next door neighbour.

Lord knows what kind of madness ensues, but it won’t be pretty…although the horrific stuff will be off-set by the beauty of Watts and Weisz, so one mustn’t grumble. And with Daniel Craig’s Bond currently in development limbo, he’s off having a great of a time and recently signed up to play the lead in Jon Favreau’s Cowboys and Aliens.
