The kid's a fine actor, but you're right in saying that any role he steps into so soon after the "Harry Potter" series, particularly if it's a fantasy role, could easily be diminished bacause of his former role as Harry. McAvoy seems like the best candidate of the three you mentioned...there's always been a "softness" about the character Bilbo in the novels, and it would take an actor with the ability to move in a manner that is simultaneously strong and understaC.ted to capture that.
