Back in August we revealed the first ever look at The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader via a selection of fan photos which had been taken of the ship in question, today we have the first official photos from the film, courtesy of the official Narnia Facebook page!

The film, which has found itself a new home at Fox since Disney dropped the option, is the third in the series and comes hot on the heels of last year’s The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, which despite the high budget and marketing costs had a measly $55,034,805 on it’s opening weekend and threw the entire future of the series in doubt.

In The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Lucy and Edmund Pevensie (Georgie Henley and Skandar Keynes) return to Narnia when they are pulled through a picture of a ship onto the Dawn Treader, a ship belonging to Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes). On a mission to find the Seven Lost Lords, Caspian, Edmund, Lucy and their cousin Eustace Scrubb travel through Narnia, going on several adventures along the way.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is released Winter 2010, check out the first official images below:
