Summit Entertainment has released the first official images of The Volturi from The Twilight Saga: New Moon! The images, which feature Aro (Michael Sheen), Jane (Dakota Fanning), Alec (Cameron Bright), Caius (Jamie Campbell Bower) and Marcus (Christopher Heyerdahl) first debuted over at MTV and Yahoo late last night.

In The Twilight Saga, The Volturi are considered the “vampire royal family”. Operating out of the city of Volterra, Italy, The Volturi act as enforcers – dealing swiftly and decisively with anything they consider a threat to their city or to the vampire world!

In THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen, but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.
