Two new character poster have surface online for X-Men: First Class. The posters feature Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lensherr a.k.a. Magneto (Michael Fassbender). The posters make an interesting use of reflections, showing us just where these two characters are destined to end up. Xavier of course has a rather metallic reflection, being bound to a wheelchair by some unknown accident, while Magneto’s is altogether more sinister.
The film stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Oliver Platt, and Kevin Bacon and is due to hit cinemas later this year, take a look at the posters in all their reflective glory below:
X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.
