Will Katie And Peter Ever Reunite?

katie-price-peter-andre-pic Right after Katie Price and Peter Andre split a few months ago, a friend of mine said, I bet they will be united by Christmas – and watch out for the cheesy Christmas single they will release too – maybe a duet version of ‘All I want for Christmas is you?’

Well, its 4 weeks until Christmas and there are signs of a possible reunion, aren’t there? Perhaps not enough time to get into a recording studio and challenge the X factor Winner for a number one single though, unless it was recorded before the split, of course? Surely that’s too harsh, a couple with three children could never have planned a divorce for publicity?

Well, they seemed to have got married for it. Katie (or Jordan, whichever you prefer) and Peter were the perfect modern day celebrity couple. They put their lives in the papers, on the TV, in the shops, for all to see. Perhaps they have finally realised that they are better together than apart, as a family unit and a media entity if nothing else.

The latest news to hit the headlines, that Katie and Peter have reportedly both arranged to watch their 4-year-old son’s nativity play, brings a glimmer of hope to anyone wanting a fairy tale ending to this story. There’s no better time than Christmas to bring families back together.

But, on a less hopeful note, according to The Sun, both parents will enter Junior’s Surrey school separately so as to avoid directly meeting one another and neither will attend a parents’ evening the following week. A source said:

“Neither wanted to miss it but they didn’t want to risk bumping into each other. So they’ve come to a compromise.

“The plan is that Peter will take Junior there. Then Katie will sneak in just before it starts so there’s no fuss.”

Andre has constantly rejected the suggestion that he may reunite with Price, insisting he has moved on. Is that ever really possible when young children are involved, over such a short amount of time?

On the other hand, surely anyone can see that Katie hit rock bottom, after clinging on to cage fighting, cross dressing Alex Reid for so long. I’m sure all she really needs is a good old hug from Pete. It seems that a bit of reminiscing in the Jungle might have made her realize what she’d let slip away.

So, come on guys, make the fairy tale Christmas come true – get back together, and get that Christmas tune on the shelves….watch this space!
