The A-Team Meets The A-Team – Cameo News!

a-team-official-900x568-512x323 Still loving this promo shot for the upcoming “The A-Team” film by director Joe Carnahan. Just look how cool they all look! Especially Sharlto Copely. Maybe I’m being a bit biased seeing as District 9is my film of the year but they have completely nailed the casting for this film. The first set of pictures was released months ago with the promo stuff following in October and they did enough to send shock waves throughout the entire A-Team loving community.

The pictures of the main cast looked great and with what I can only assume is more than solid support from Patrick Wilson this is going to be one huge thrill ride.

As if us fans didn’t have enough to look forward too news filtered through a couple of weeks ago that Dwight Schultz, the original Howlin’ Mad Murdock would feature in a cameo. Now it seems he will be joined by Dirk Benedict who played ‘Face’ in the now legendary 80s TV series.

Dear Mr Carnahan, please find it in your heart to give Mr. T a ring and invite him to join in. He can’t be up to much these days; those Snickers adverts have all but disappeared off the telly. Oh, and if the movie’s budget can stretch do you think we can hire someone to resurrect or clone George Peppard? You know it makes sense and it will probably lift your box office by a couple of million at least.

Roll on summer 2010! Until then I will leave you with what my good mate Kris exclaimed recently after hearing all this wonderful news.
