A brand new poster has been released for the upcoming adventure SOLOMON KANE, starring James Purefoy and based on the story written by Robert E. Howard (Conan the Barbarian) in 1928.
The film is written and directed by Michael J. Bassett and also stars Max von Sydow, Pete Postlethwaite, Rachel Hurd-Wood, Alice Krige and Mackenzie Crook. The film is set to debut at the Toronto Film Festival in September, take a look below for the poster and synopsis:
The trailer for Solomon Kane that was shown at Comic Con 2009. Solomon Kane is a fictional character created by the pulp-era writer Robert E. Howard. A 17th century Puritan, Solomon Kane is a somber-looking man who wanders the world with no apparent goal other than to vanquish evil in all its forms. His adventures, published mostly in the pulp magazine Weird Tales, often take him from Europe to the jungles of Africa and back.
