The 44-year-old actress was wearing a white Heritage dress, gold Christian Louboutin heels and carrying a Chanel clutch while filming a scene in New York City, Us Weekly reports.

For all of Carrie’s fans and those of Sex in the City…..we know it’s going to be as glamorous as ever!

The shot involved several takes of her leaving the upscale apartment building that she and Mr Big purchased and sold in the first film, though co-stars Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon were not on set during the days shooting.

So, what about potential plot lines for the new film? After Carrie and Big’s ‘Happy Ever After’ moment at the end of the last movie, it’s rumored that a proposed plotline is to include Big taking a job overseas due to the recession. How will that affect the couple’s relationship – and Carrie’s closet?

Rumours are also circulating that some scenes will even be shot with Carrie and Big in London! Yes please! The possible plotline that seems most plausible will see Carrie living alone in a one-bedroom apartment, whilst Big gets really unhappy and ends up in bed with another woman. But after Carrie leaves him, she then discovers she is pregnant!

Samantha will be another character hit by the recession, and will be scaling down her lavish lifestyle after she loses out on some big money investments. We’re promised that her love of men however, will not be toned down. A young Croatian model has been lined up to play her newest ‘love interest.’

As for Charlotte, she is said to become jealous of the English nanny with ‘big boobs’ that she hires to look after her two young children. This is, of course, the role that glamour model Katie Price famously auditioned for a couple of months ago.

However, Sarah Jessica Parker recently declined to drop any hints as to what may actually transpire during the movie, and it seems very much like everyone is trying to keep the plot line under wraps.

Recently, Sex and the City showed what a huge following it has, when more than a thousand people lined up for several hours in New York City for the chance to be an extra in next year’s movie.

The first movie grossed $415 million worldwide, with the sequel due for release in May 2010. I can’t wait!
