Can’t wait for Conan The Barbarian? Well there’s another Robert E. Howard character heading into theatres next year, and that would be one demon-slaying priest known as SOLOMON KANE. Since the original footage was aired at Comic Con earlier this year, the buzz surrounding this film has been ever-growing. Starring James Purefoy (Rome), Pete Postlethwaite and Max von Sydow, this independently produced pic looks promising indeed, check out the new clips in the widget below and let us know what you think:

Solomon Kane is a fictional character created by the pulp-era writer Robert E. Howard. A 17th century Puritan, Solomon Kane is a somber-looking man who wanders the world with no apparent goal other than to vanquish evil in all its forms. His adventures, published mostly in the pulp magazine Weird Tales, often take him from Europe to the jungles of Africa and back.
