Megan Fox As Catwoman?!

Time for another round of Batman 3 rumours it seems. UK tabloid extraordinaire THE SUN has recycled an old, old rumour today – in announcing that MEGAN FOX has been signed on to play Catwoman in the sequel to The Dark Knight!

The rag (sorry, newspaper), has stated that Fox will join CHRISTIAN BALE, MICHAEL CAINE and director CHRISTOPHER NOLAN in shooting next year for a 2011 release.

While I’m all for the idea of Fox playing Catwoman, I can’t see this rumour going anywhere other than in the trash. Stories of Megan Fox’s involvement have circulated the web since last Summer, so by a twist of fate could they now ring true? With Chris Nolan’s “INCEPTION” not due out until Summer 2010 will Nolan have enough time to devote to shooting a new Batman film next year? Probably not, but given the fact that The Sun have opted to boldly state in such a solid, “matter of fact” way, I couldn’t help but play devil’s advocate this morning!

Chalk this one up as a big, fat, stinking rumour for now folks – I’ll be very, very shocked if there turns out to be any truth to this at all!
