Laura Dern Is A Jurassic Focker

laura-dern-jurassic Everyone’s favourite Paleobotanist – Laura Dern, has scored a place in the latest “Meet the Parents” sequel. Joining regular fockers Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, Teri Polo, Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand in LITTLE FOCKERS (working title), Dern has been cast as the headmistress of the elementary school that the Fockers’ children attend.

The sequel is directed by Paul Weitz and is due in theatres in the Summer of 2010. Dern has previously held a number of starring roles throughout the years, most notably that of Paleobotanist, Dr. Ellie Sattler in Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III.

Producing Little Fockers (that’s the film, not the actual children) will be Jane Rosenthal and Jay Roach, while John Hamburg is credited with rewriting the original script by Larry Stuckey.
