russell-crowe-as-robin-hood1The international trailer has landed for the Ridley Scott directed, Russell Crowe vehicle, Robin Hood. Unlike the US teaser trailer, this latest treat features far more dialogue and action although judging from some of the epic looking footage within, I’d say we’re still in for a Robin Hood unlike any other we’ve seen before.

Either way it’s a pretty slick looking trailer, Oscar worthy? Too early to tell, but that’s definitely the vibe I’m getting. Check it out below:

The story of how an archer in the service of King Richard the Lionheart became to be known as Robin Hood, the famous archer and outlaw of English Folklore.

Beginning after the Death of King Richard at the Siege of Chalus Chabrol, the film follows Robin on his rise to infamy among the English Barons and the newly crowned King John.

Featuring historically accurate characters such as Sir William Marshall and grounded in reality (in a similar way to Gladiator), this is not Robin Hood as you have seen him before, rather the making of the legend we have come to know him as now.

US Release: 14th May 2010
UK Release: 14th May 2010
Australian Release: 13th May 2010
