Quentin Tarantino Welcomes Fans To Facebook
Yes you read right film fans, Quentin Tarantino has brought his latest movie – Inglourious Basterds – to Facebook! Starring Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Diane Kruger and Melanie Laurent, Inglourious Basterds hits cinemas on 21st August 2009.
Quentin Tarantino and Universal Pictures International have launched a brand new International Facebook hub for upcoming action thriller ‘Inglourious Basterds’, featuring a unique personalised video introduction from the man himself – a Facebook world first for film!
The page also features a fantastic competition to win a trip to LA to visit the places Quentin loves and finds his inspiration. The site will be regularly updated with giveaways, clips and discussions on the eagerly awaited release which stars Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender and Diane Kruger.
Tarantino is one of a handful of directors to embrace the online environment in this way. The studio has created a bespoke space for fans in multiple territories outside of the US to gather and share content and opinion.
