Fun Stuff: Ghostbusters III Teaser Poster

In the spirit of film fandom, how could I not report on this? Given the recent news announcments for the long awaited Ghostbusters III (script/no script, cast/no cast) it would be pure sacrilage not to publish this fantastic fan-made poster for the eagerly anticipated threequel!
The poster, which is the work of the talented RayStantz of DevientArt, was released back in September and I’ll be honest, it’s been in my browser bookmarks ever since! Somehow things have been so busy – that I just haven’t found the time to publish it!
Anyhow, it’s common knowledge that the Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson and even Sigourney Weaver have all expressed an interest in returning to the popular series for a third outing. At this point it seems that the only stumbling block is a certain Bill Murray who (it seems) is still emotionally scarred from Ghostbusters II! So to all you Ghostbusters fans out there – beg him, plead him, ring his doorbell and run away again – do ANYTHING you can to bring Murray round to the idea of a Ghostbusters III!

Craig Sharp, To let you know and everbody else that Ghostbusters 3 is coming because on October 20th Ernie Hudson said from Ivan Reitman that Ghostbusters 3 is goingg to happen! He told Ernie that GB3 will be here in May 2011. The script is finished and accepted and approved by all parties and everyone is in Ghostbusters 3 for the 2011 release. There's a Proof webpage from Sony telling everyone that GB3 has been confirmed and it's Gonna be made. It said that this April 1st and first they said it's Not an April fools joke. See what Ivan told Ernie there 100% correct in May 2011 Ghostbusters 3 will be in Theaters and when it gets closer we will know what date GB3 will be in theaters in May of 2011. Ivan told Ernie on Oct.18th 2009 that Filming will began next Fall of September for a May 2011 release. It's Happening so please stop making false quotes! Sony said by 2 people at a meeting eariler this year on April 1st 2009 saying that's it's Not an April fools joke Ghostbusters 3 will be here in 2011. I belive Ernie and Ivan 100%! Finally in May 2011 we will see the Original GB's training a new team and chase Ghosts in Hellbent Ghostbusters 3 in May 2011. Bill Murray WILL like the GB3 script after he sees it and Annie to because everyone likes it and Sony WILL like the GB3 script and so WILL the GB Fans in May 2011!

Killing off Peter Venkman? I hope they bring him back in the end of the movie because if not, I think I'm really going to hate it. For that matter, I may not even see it. >:o(

Actually Callie, whether they've used The Mist's poster as a template or not, I believe that for a fan-made poster this is a good job, so if there's any embarrassment here I can assure you it isn't coming from FilmShaft

Actually, Craig, it is all yours. Maybe 'FilmShaft' (fitting name BTW) should think about what quality level it wants to present it's readers when describing a slap-dash manipulation of a generic poster for GB3 as “fantastic”.
Why don't you take a poll and see how many people actually agree with your assessment?
For a start, I reported on the poster Callie, because I think the artist has done a good job and it is a point of interest and taste – nothing to be taken more seriously than that. Secondly, I don't appreciate being condemned on the basis that my opinion is not the same as yours and thirdly, I don't expect everybody to like the poster – however it does demonstrate the level of fan interest in a third installment of the Ghostbuster franchise.
So if it's okay by you, I'd appreciate it if I was allowed to continue expressing my free opinion without fear of being condemned simply because it may not be in line with your own?
