FilmShaft Upgraded – New Server & New Look

server upgrade Okay so it’s been a few weeks, we’ve had our blips with hosting etc, but finally I’m pleased to announce that we have completed the migration to our first dedicated server and to mark the occasion – we’ve had a sexy new upgrade too!

Among the improvements/fixes have been:

FIXED! – Star ratings on FilmShaft reviews
FIXED! – Clickable thumbnail images on the front page and all subsections
ADDED – A swish new flash slide show to replace our clunky, older model
ADDED – New colour scheme, background, tweaked logo

More importantly, we have shaken off our old hosting company and selected SingleHop to manage our shiny new dedicated server. Not being the techie type (I’m really not), it was a massive help to have a hosting company who assisted me every step of the way during the transfer period and continue to help now while we iron out any of the wrinkles. Should you ever be in the market for a managed dedicated server I really can’t recommend SingleHop enough.
