Debbie Gibson versus Tiffany versus Giant Python versus Gatoroid

As if Germany Vs England wasn’t enough drama and excitement to look forward to we now have another clash of epic proportions coming our way when 80’s pop babes Debbie Gibson and Tiffany face off in one of Asylum/SyFy’s very popular but completely mental mockbusters.

Gibson of course starred in last years brilliant Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus. A film that was so glorious and over-the-top that it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable films of recent years. I even found it funny even though Debbie Gibson’s career came way before my time.

So exactly what are the two retro pop stars going to be fighting over? Well, the new film will be written by Asylum veteran Naomi Selfman who also wrote the ridiculous 2012 Doomsday which (funnily enough was a lot better than the garbage that Roland Emmerich gave us) and directed by Mary Lambert. What’s that I hear you cry? What is the title of this slice of cinematic heaven? Well, it’s only called MEGA PYTHON Vs GATOROID!

Word on the grapevine is that the girls will actually have a fight scene. That should please lots of guys out there who happened to be teenagers in the 80’s.

Tiffany will play a park ranger who is passionate about protecting alligators while Gibson will be an animal rights activist who in a rebellious rage releases lot’s of pet store snakes into the wild. The snakes then proceed to grow to MEGA SIZES! How can this film fail? It can’t and it won’t! With shooting set to start next month the film will premier on the SyFy channel in about a years time.
