Christopher Nolan For Superman Reboot?

chrisnolancameraThe man that saved Batman has a lot on his mind right now what with his very secretive, highly anticipated Leo DiCaprio vehicle Inception fast approaching its release date. However the top people over at Warner Bros. have decided that Nolan is the right man to revamp the man of steel franchise. This is going to be a complete overhaul and not a sequel to the damp and dreary Superman Returns of a few years ago.

Lets not get carried away here; Nolan has not been touted as the director for this new Superman project but only as a creative consultant as such. No doubt he will help guide the script and possibly have a say on who takes the directors chair but he has bigger fish to fry. His third Batman film is currently being written by his brother Jonathan and David S. Goyer.

Why has Warner Bros. suddenly launched themselves onto another Superman film? Simple, with the current rights to Superman running out in 2013 it would be a hell of a lot cheaper to get the ball rolling sooner rather than later. The ace up the sleeve here is most definitely Nolan and his involvement will surely send the fan boys wild.

It’s going to be a busy couple of years for Chris Nolan and us film fans are going to reap the benefits.
